CFCs seized in Kandla, India, 2004

EIA is committed to assisting the enforcement community to combat the illegal trade in environmentally damaging commodities and endangered species. Using our experience and specialisation in using undercover investigation techniques to expose environmental crimes EIA can provide evidence and insights into illegal trade that otherwise may be unavailable.

We produce all our own training materials in consultation with enforcement officials and other interested parties. EIA training materials include case studies and examples of illegal trade, risk profiling and expert opinion The materials we produce include reports, briefings, videos and images. We also provide information and access to our training materials on the EIA website.

EIA currently participates in, and provides training materials for many training workshops and enforcement officials around the world.
