ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANCE: FORESTS

Over the last five years EIA and campaign partners Telapak have provided valuable intelligence on suspected cases of illegal timber shipments to enforcement agencies in countries spanning three continents. EIA/Telapak have also provided advice and information to Customs officials on matters such as timber identification and trade routes. This assistance has resulted in a series of record seizures of illegal timber across the globe.
