EIA’s investigators continually risk their lives, working undercover to gather evidence of environmental crimes. Our investigators have been kidnapped, attacked and beaten in the course of gathering evidence but we continue to work to expose the criminals involved in environmental destruction.

We expose the massive criminal networks that control illegal trades in tropical forests, ivory, tiger parts, climate changing chemicals and whale products. But our resources are tiny compared with the massive wealth of the criminals we oppose.

It can cost between £10,000 and £20,000 to carry out a full undercover investigation.
